OUR HISTORY

Launch Energy Group was founded in 2022 by Rick Sanders and his wife, Christa. Rick’s family has been rooted in the HVAC industry for more than 70 years, beginning with his grandfather, Barney, who opened Sanders Heating Company in Chicago in 1944.

Rick grew up in the trade, starting work with his grandfather in 1987. When Barney retired in 1990, Rick’s father moved the business to West Palm Beach, Florida. Rick joined him there in 1992, gaining valuable residential HVAC experience. The business thrived until 2004, when Rick’s father retired and sold it.

From there, Rick continued his career in Central Florida, managing the residential division of a large HVAC company for 18 years. In 2022, he saw the opportunity to take his decades of experience and bring a more personal, family-owned approach to customers in our community. That’s when Launch Energy Group was born.
